Compatibility
Know before you connect.
29 hardware families, grouped by what they are. Two are proven on real packs. The rest are decoders written from public specifications and captured data, and we say so.
- Tested
- Run against real packs by us, over months of daily use. Only JiKong and JBD.
- Beta
- Decoder written and tested against captured or specification frames. Not yet proven on our own hardware; may not work on every model or firmware.
- Experimental
- Has a known limitation or an unconfirmed model family. Try it, but do not count on it.
Trademarks and non-affiliation
MultiBMS is independent software. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or approved by any of the companies named on this page. All product names, brand names and trademarks are the property of their respective owners and are used here only to identify hardware the app is compatible with. No company logos or artwork are used.
Compatibility is based on publicly documented or observed Bluetooth behaviour. It is provided as-is, with no warranty, and may not work with every model or firmware version. MultiBMS reads and displays data. It does not configure or replace a properly set-up BMS. The one command it can send is an ANT MOSFET on/off switch, which asks you to confirm first. You are responsible for your own equipment and its safety.

The MultiBMS Gateway
The gateway is a small ESP32 board that reads a pack for you and passes readings on. In this first version it works with JiKong and JBD only. Every other family below works through the app over Bluetooth only. The gateway is a read-only monitor.
Battery management systems
The boards inside a pack, or sold on their own.
- JiKong (JK-BMS) Names starting JK- or JK_, the JK-PB inverter series, and Heltec-named boards. Also recognised by Bluetooth manufacturer ID, so renamed packs still connect. Tested Works through the Gateway
- JBD / Xiaoxiang Names containing JBD, Xiaoxiang or Overkill. Other boards that use the same common Bluetooth service are tried as JBD. Tested Works through the Gateway
- Daly Smart BMS, both the newer Modbus generation and the legacy DL- generation. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- ANT ANT-BLE and ANT-BMS names, both framings. One user reports it working on a multi-pack bank; not verified by us. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Seplos V2 racks (BP-series) and V3 (SP-series, CSY, XZHX). Beta App over Bluetooth only
- PACE ASCII-protocol modules (names starting PACE, PCE, PBM, PMS) and PACE EX binary modules (PC-xxxx). Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Pylontech RT-series batteries with Bluetooth only. The US-series has no Bluetooth radio. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- NEEY Balancers and BMS with EK- or GW- names. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- TDT / WattCycle HS02 and WattCycle-named packs. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Topband Topband-built packs sold as Ective, Ionic (LithiumHub), Wattstunde, KiloVault, Startcraft and Strakpower. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- TianPower TP_ named packs. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- HumsiENK HS-series and ECO/DCH-named boards (newer ECO-WORTHY packs). Beta App over Bluetooth only
- E&J / SuperVolt SuperVolt, Libatt, and older-serial LiTime packs, plus G-series names such as Chins. Beta App over Bluetooth only
Branded batteries
Drop-in and rack batteries with their own Bluetooth module.
- Redodo / LiTime Redodo, Power Queen, Starry Sea, and newer-serial LiTime packs. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Renogy Batteries with a BT-TH- name or Renogy in the name. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- SOK SOK-, ABC- and NB- named packs. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- EG4 LL and WallMount packs. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- ECO-WORTHY ECO-WORTHY and DCHOUSE named packs. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Vatrer Packs advertising Vatrer or the numeric serial-style name. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Gobel Power Gobel-named or BMS-xxxx packs. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Felicity Solar Names starting F07 or F10, or containing Felicity. Beta App over Bluetooth only
Power stations
Portable and home power stations that expose readings over Bluetooth.
- EcoFlow EF- named units. Newer firmware can require an EcoFlow account key. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Bluetti Older firmware only. Units on newer encrypted firmware are detected, but cannot be read. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Anker SOLIX C300, C800, C1000, F2000, F2600, F3800 and Solarbank 2 and 3 models. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- ALLPOWERS Units with ALLPOWERS in the name. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Jackery HL series (2000 Ultra, HomePower) only. It may stop answering after the first reading until you reconnect. Older Explorers have no Bluetooth. Experimental App over Bluetooth only
- Zendure Hub 1200 follows its published protocol. SuperBase units are unconfirmed. Experimental App over Bluetooth only
Solar and monitors
Chargers and shunts that broadcast or stream readings.
- Victron SmartShunt, BMV and SmartSolar chargers through Instant Readout. Needs the encryption key from VictronConnect. Beta App over Bluetooth only
- Junctek KG-F and KH-F shunts. Built from the published spec; the frame checksum is not verified. Experimental App over Bluetooth only
Not on the list?
If a brand is missing, the app does not connect to it. Many packs are rebadged boards from the families above and may be recognised by their Bluetooth service, but we do not list a name until the app has a decoder for it. Before you connect, make sure Bluetooth is on on the battery, no other app is holding the connection, and you are close enough for a steady signal.
